It is the customer’s responsibility to check the reservation and ensure that the particulars contained are correct.

 

The customer or client shall pay RACHEL MAIRI TURNER an initial non-refundable deposit to confirm a booking. The remaining balance will be stated by RACHEL MAIRI TURNER and must be paid in full by the date agreed upon at the time of booking, for each person or total company fee named in the reservation.

The balance monies due shall be paid by the individual customer to RACHEL MAIRI TURNER, for a place or places on a retreat, by the agreed payment date confirmed at booking.

​

If payment of either the deposit or the remaining balance is not received by the agreed due date, RACHEL MAIRI TURNER reserves the right to cancel the reservation and retain the deposit. If individual payment plans are arranged, any booking may be cancelled by RACHEL MAIRI TURNER if payments are missed.

In the event that the customer needs to cancel for any reason, spaces are strictly non-transferable and non-refundable.

​

Due to situations beyond our control, RACHEL MAIRI TURNER reserves the right to change bookings and shall inform the customer as soon as possible. Alternative arrangements will be offered, but no responsibility is accepted for any costs incurred, including travel costs.

RACHEL MAIRI TURNER is not held liable for travel costs.

​

RACHEL MAIRI TURNER reserves the right to offer discretionary discounts. This does not affect the status of guests who have paid the full price, and no refund or discount will become due to them.

​

The customer shall not use the property except for its permitted use and shall not use the property for any offensive, noisy, dangerous, illegal, immoral or improper purposes. The customer shall not do anything which may be a nuisance or annoyance to RACHEL MAIRI TURNER, other guests, staff or property owners.

​

The customer shall keep all properties used by RACHEL MAIRI TURNER, including fixtures, fittings, furniture and effects, in a clean and good condition and shall replace any articles which are destroyed or missing with articles of a similar kind and equal value.

​

RACHEL MAIRI TURNER reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to terminate use of any property or its facilities by the customer in the event of a breach of these terms and conditions. The customer will be required to vacate the property and RACHEL MAIRI TURNER shall not refund payment or accept any consequential liability, damages or loss.

​

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that he/she has all relevant travel documentation required to attend the event venue.

​

RACHEL MAIRI TURNER accepts no responsibility for delay or cancellation of any trains, buses, flights or other forms of transport.

​

If the customer chooses to downgrade their accommodation after payment has been made, no refund will be issued. If the customer wishes to upgrade, the new price will apply.

​

The customer must comply fully with all health and safety regulations introduced by RACHEL MAIRI TURNER. The customer must ensure that he/she is medically, mentally and physically fit to participate in retreat activities. Customers with injuries, illnesses or mental health concerns are advised to seek medical advice prior to attending. RACHEL MAIRI TURNER is not liable for injuries sustained during participation in activities. Customers must stop immediately if experiencing pain or illness and inform the teacher of any previous injuries.

RACHEL MAIRI TURNER cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal possessions or valuables.

​

RACHEL MAIRI TURNER shall not be liable for any failures beyond its control, including natural disasters, acts of God, war, civil unrest, closure of transport routes, accidents or failure by third-party suppliers or subcontractors.

​

In the event of hotel cancellation or event cancellation by the organiser RACHEL MAIRI TURNER, the customer shall be entitled to a full refund.

​

RACHEL MAIRI TURNER accepts no liability for loss, damage, injury or illness incurred during the customer’s stay or while travelling to and from retreats.

​

All customers are strongly advised to obtain adequate travel, cancellation and medical insurance for the duration of the trip. RACHEL MAIRI TURNER accepts no liability for customers who choose not to do so.
